Position Summary
- To provide leadership to district-wide operational and instructional programs by having high expectations of all staff members and students, ensuring goals and objectives are intensely pursued and achieved, ensuring that assessment of programs and staff is carried out efficiently, and ensuring that good school / community relationships abound throughout the community.
Position Requirement
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree; Doctor’s Degree Preferred
- Valid Administrator, Superintendent, or Mid-Management Certificate;
- Seven Years Successful School Administration Experience; Three Years Successful Principalship Experience Preferred
Major Duties:
- Promotes student learning and achievement
- Coordinate leadership for district-wide initiatives including State and Federal requirements.
- Provides for the professional growth of campus level administrators
- Encourages the nourishment of a healthy school / community relationship
- Ensures that a safe learning environment prevails on all campuses
- Carries out appraisal and supervision of employees in an efficient manner
- Serves as liaison between the Board of Trustees and the District-Wide Educational Instruction Improvement Council (DEIIC)
- Performs other duties as assigned
Term of Employment: 12 months
Reports to: Superintendent
Salary: Commensurate with experience and district salary schedule.
